DYSTOPIAN FAIRYTALE

A narrative collection about humanity’s dominance over nature, where nature regains its control and freedom. The collection takes motifs from carnivorus plants and flowers and merges nature with a genre of dystopian fashion.  The narrative is told in three phases: industralization, blossoming, and regrowth. Through this collection, my goal is to convey a narrative of resilience and shift the idea of humanity’s relationship with nature; one where people recognize nature as a living entity rather than a resource for humans to exploit.
