Navigating the world as an active translator, the collection represents a hybrid third identity, juggling the feelings of belonging and unfamiliarity between both worlds. Inspired by romanticism and hiking, athletic and elegant silhouettes merge with self handmade textiles, colorful prints, and textures. Through materiality and color, Yi Nan celebrates cultural mixing, community, belonging, and the beauty of standing out rather than conforming.
